Christ the King Men’s Ministry

Mission Statement: To equip and empower men to become the husbands, fathers, and leaders in the community, that God created us to be.

Gentlemen of Christ [the King],

You are a catalyst of change in the world! On your own you can affect your sphere of influence, add conversion and just think what the Holy Spirit could accomplish!

Do you want to change faith in God? In the world? In the media? In America? In the East valley? In your birth family? In your children? In your Wife?

How much do you want their conversion? Much depends on how deep your own conversion is.

Would you do anything it takes? Will you give the Lord a blank check? Would you fast? Sacrifice your time and priorities? Daily Mass? Weekly Adoration? Study the Bible? Study apologetics? Renew your mind? (Romans 12:2) Be extremely humble to the Holy Spirit’s movement within?

If any of this sounds like you (it doesn’t have to), please join other men of the parish on the journey right away. Now is the time. I hope to make it easy and I know God will bless you and your sphere of influence.

Questions, ideas, or to RSVP (walk-ins always welcome), call Randy Fornoff at (602) 397-6778 or email rjfornoff@cox.net.

CTK Men’s Ministry – weekly events

That Man Is You!

6:30am – 8am Saturdays in St Joe’s Hall or Presentation Hall. Most Saturdays excluding major holidays and a long Christmas break. Agenda – free breakfast (donations accepted), current Catholic issues and event updates, HD video teachings, and easy-going small groups to make it real. Join other men on the journey, ’cause we ain’t there yet!.

That Man is You! is an interactive, multimedia men’s program focused upon the development of authentic male leadership. Over the course of three years, That Man is You! successively considers men in their relationship to God, to their spouse and to their children.

The program content harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive. It is particularly indebted to the teachings of the Second Vatican Council and Pope John Paul II.

For weekly reminders go to http://www.paradisusdei.org/ and click “Sign Up” at the top right, enter at least the required information, it will bring you back to the home page, but remember to choose a location – type “mesa” or “Christ the King & Queen of Peace” and choose “Christ the King & Queen of Peace”. Watch your spam folder at first. I usually send weekly reminders on Wednesday or Thursday (Friday when I forget).

Christians in Commerce

6:45am – 7:45am every Wednesday, St. Joe’s Hall A.

Weekly, we pray together as men, we take turns speaking our witness, and we share in small groups bringing growth in living the life of Christ – a life that is the light for those we meet in the marketplace. There is a new wave of the Spirit and evangelization sweeping across our land! We are a part of this as we build His kingdom and share His Gospel in our workplaces.

Christians in Commerce Challenge Weekends (available 3 or 4 times a year)

The Challenge Weekend offers the opportunity to take stock and see what God has in mind for us. Experience the love of God through Jesus Christ – a life in Christ – a life in the Spirit – a life that is transforming and lived in power – a life rich and full of purpose – a life bringing love, integrity and excellence to the workplace.
