Director of Catechetical Ministry & Sacramental Preparation for Children and Teens
Under the supervision of the Pastor and Pastoral Associate. This is a full time position that will require some evenings and weekend hours.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Envisions, plans and coordinates all facets of the Catechetical Formation program and Sacramental preparation for ages elementary through high school.
- Is responsible for coordination of parish efforts to cultivate the values of spirituality and to provide the necessary and appropriate catechesis for individuals and families in preparation to receive sacraments in both English and Spanish.
- The development of accurate statistical records of elementary and teen formational programs in the Parish.
- Will direct and supervise the RE Administrative Assistant and the Facilitator of Youth Ministry.
- Assess the fiscal needs of the department and working with Pastor, Pastoral Associate and Financial Secretary to set an annual budget.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- 3-5 yrs experience in Ministry
- B.S. or M. A. Degree in Theology or additional years experience in ministry
